The way that many of us live our lives doesn't leave a lot of time to spare. Between doing our jobs, doing our chores and recovering from the two, it's hard to fit in all the things we are supposed to be doing besides, let alone the long list of things we want to do for fun or pleasure.

It's frustrating to feel like there is no opportunity to really let our hair down, so we've got to take our small tidbits of enjoyment where we can. We need to have something positive to keep us going, even if we get it in not the most ideal of ways.

This is the point at which memes come in. Although we might not be able to spend a lot of time on leisure every day, it's almost always possible to fit in fifteen minutes (or several hours) of uninterrupted scrolling. Is it slowly destroying our brains? Probably, but at least it feels good.
